There are a variety of ways you can donate to United Way:

• Donate to the United Way general fund which is used to help support the changing spectrum of need in the community;
• Donate & designate to any of our 3 designated help areas;
• Donate & designate to specific charities.

Through our annual campaign we raise and distribute funds as directed by donors. Donors are made up of local company employees, community residents and national corporations.

Workplace giving campaigns have been a staple of United Way for decades. Through local companies (workplace campaigns), we raise funds that are distributed to our community either through our grant making process or as a designated gift to specific 501 (c) 3 entities.

Many companies find that taking up a coordinated charitable cause helps to increase employee morale and retention. In addition to helping created sustainable results in our four counties, companies that run campaigns have many opportunities for public recognition of their efforts.

Workplace campaigns are fun and competitive. They help connect your employees to their community and provide opportunities to build leadership and project management skills, and increase volunteer involvement.
