Our Grant Making Process
United Way of Northwest
Michigan makes grants to the most cost effective community programs and
organizations that best align with our grant goals and geographic
footprint. A broad group of diverse community volunteers determines
what grants should be made after reviewing proposals, interviewing
applicants and weighing over-all community needs. We then monitor
results to insure donor funds are spent as promised and make a
difference.
