Youth and Adult Volunteering

We are committed to connecting volunteers of any age with opportunities to serve the community. Whether you are a kid under 18 or a kid at heart; whether you want to lend your skills and hard-earned wisdom or your muscles and smiles - we want to help link you to experiences that are meaningful to you.

For a listing of all volunteer experiences currently posted, link to our volunteering database of almost 200 area nonprofits by going to www.StartHereStayNear.com and clicking "For Volunteers". Questions? Call Mari von Walthausen at 947-3200 x14 or email mari@unitedway.tcnet.org.

Family Volunteering

Ideally there is a point where "family life" merges with "community life" and demands on our time are not so conflicting. We will help you spend time together as a family, having fun, while giving back to your community. Just as children learn to share, they learn what it means to give, as well.

For youth group or family volunteering experiences please call Mari von Walthausen at 947-3200 x14 or email mari@unitedway.tcnet.org
